Just when you thought you had heard enough about the Wu-Tang Clan thanks to the on and off again antics of Old Dirty Bastard, here comes some more shocking news. First there are all sorts of stories surfacing about the situation surrounding ODB and the two officers he shot at.

Folks are saying that the officers were in plain clothes and may have in fact appeared as car jackers. In New York right now the thing to do is to rob celebrities in particular rap artists. There have been recent assaults on people like Busta Rhymes, Guru and even the other night a New Jersey Giant football player found himself being robbed after being hit upside the head. People are saying that ODB may in fact have shot at the two officers in self defense.. He is still awaiting the results of the parrafin gun tests.. We'll keep you posted on that end.

So now, while you're shocked about that incident here comes the next one. The FEDS [Federal Alchohol, Tobacco and Firearm Agency] is currently launching an investigation to several other Wu-Tang members about them being gun runners. There is a lot of speculation that group members may have been having friends from Steubenville, Ohio transport guns back to New York. No undoubtly they may have been purchaisng guns for their own protection, but the FATFA is claiming that the Wu was taking these guns and reselling them to friends. What makes this whole case even more bizarre is that Wu-Tang leader The RZA actually lives in Steubenville and group members are often making trips to his compound. One of their favorite activities is to go take target practice.

What set off this investigation was the recent murders of two Wu-Tang associates. One took place in Steubenville and the other in Shaolin [Staten Island].. The group is vehemently denying these reports and in fact claim that the may be a victim of an attempted set up.. We'll keep you posted on the outcome of all this...
